MF9 Channel Clips are all you need to fix your MF7 Primary Channels to your MF5 Furring Sections with a strong grip. We’ve seen contractors use teg screws to connect the metals together but clips are the more correct way to go.

Remember, for the most secure fixing, alternate the orientation of your clips, so every other clip faces the opposite direction. That should prevent vibration (or the fixing of plasterboard) causing any gradual ‘travel’ of furring sections.
